Web design is the skill of designing presentations of content that is delivered to your visitors, clients or customers through the World Wide Web, by way of a Web browser or other Web-enabled software. A web site is a collection of information about a particular topic or subject. Designing a web site is defined as the arrangement and creation of web pages that in turn make up a web site. A web page consists of information for which the web site is developed. A web site might be compared to a book, where each page of the book is a web page. There are many aspects that go into designing a web site that include many skills provided by the web designer. But many of these skills have nothing to do with providing your visitors with a pleasant and informative site. At S'n'G Consulting we try to follow the "K.I.S.S." principle -- Keep It Simple Stupid. We design sites that are pleasant to the eye, easy to navigate and read and do not include such things as "Flash" movies, multiple columns like a newspaper and are fast loading. We can incorporate into your sites such items as a photo gallery, online store, forum or blog, MySQL database queries, classified ads and links to external sites.
